Meet the Instructors

Amanda Westergard

Owner, Instructor

Amanda is the Owner and Director of Studio W and teaches classes in ballet, jazz, lyrical and tumbling each week. She is also the Director of our Dance Company. Ms. Amanda began dancing in 2004, when she was 14 years old.  Since then, she has danced with many different instructors in Sonoma County and studied dance at Santa Rosa Junior College. Amanda danced with Surge Modern Dance company for one year and has performed in five of SRJC’s annual spring performances. She also has choreographed several dances for the SRJC performances. During her eleven years of teaching, she has begun a dance company, a summer camp program and made several life long friendships. Amanda has eleven years experience in teaching ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, tumbling, choreography and preschool dance programs. Amanda loves her job and hopes to continue teaching for many more years.

Krystina Cronin

Tap Program Director, Instructor

Krystina began dancing when she was 10 for the Katherine Wheeler Dancers. She did competitive tap and fell in love. She started dancing at the SRJC and studied jazz, ballet, and hip hop. She has choreographed for numerous musicals for the theater arts productions and the spring dance shows. Krystina has also choreographed for Cardinal Newman high school and the Miss Sonoma County Program. Krystina loves teaching and watching her students fall in love with the beautiful art of dance. 

Julia Hendrickson

Summer Camp Director

Julia has been dancing with Mrs. Amanda for 6 years, and have been assisting her in classes for the majority of those years. She graduated from Healdsburg High School in 2019 and is now attending Cal state university Channel Islands! Julia is majoring in performing arts with an emphasis in dance, and is planning to graduate in spring 2023!

Kristina Magill

Office Administrator; Pre-Hip Hop 1 Instructor

Kristina has been dancing for 14 years and has been dancing with Mrs. Amanda for 5 years and has also assisted in her classes. She is a recent graduate from Windsor High School and will be attending Sonoma State University in the fall. She is planning on majoring in Psychology with a minor in dance.

Katie Young

Class Assistant

Katie is 16 years old and has been dancing for 12 years. She has been dancing with Mrs. Amanda for 3 years doing jazz and lyrical, and she also has 3 years experience of doing tumbling and acrobatics. She also has teaching experience as she has been assisting or being a substitute teacher in dance classes for 3 years.
